Your 2023 Federal Labor Law Posters Require an Update

Is your company’s labor law poster updated? There are a few mandatory updates to FOUR of the federal notices on the all-in-one 2023 California and Federal Labor Law Poster. Failure to post the most updated notices could result in large fines. Here are the steps to update your poster. Act as soon as possible to stay in compliance.

Update Poster #1: Federal Minimum Wage

Update Poster #2: Know Your Rights - Workplace Discrimination is Illegal
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) had released its updated Know Your Rights notice to address the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act which takes effect on June 27, 2023. There is a monetary penalty for covered employers who fail to post the notice. The penalty is currently $659.

Update Poster #3: Your Employee Rights Under the Family and Medical Leave Act
The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a federal law that provides eligible employees with job-protected leave for qualifying family and medical reasons. The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) enforces the FMLA for most employees. This version reflects the changes on April 23, 2023.
Update Poster #4: Employee Rights - Employee Polygraph Protection Act
The Employee Polygraph Protection Act prohibits most private employers from using lie detector tests either for pre-employment screening or during the course of employment.
