IMPORTANT NOTICE! Labor Law Poster Update on April 1st
by KCALKCAL Perspectives
Attention all California employers! As of April 1st, there’s a new posting on your labor law poster that needs to be updated and posted!
There have been changes made to the Family Care and Medical Leave (CFRA Leave) and Pregnancy Disability notice (now called Family Care and Medical Leave and Pregnancy Disability Leave), adding information about the New Parent Leave Act (NPLA), which applies to employers with 20 or more employees and provides 12 weeks of unpaid, job protected leave to bond with a newborn or a child placed with the employee for adoption or foster care (Click here for more information) (opens in new tab).
Since it is required to post this notice by April 1st, expert labor law attorneys recommend downloading and printing the new version of the Family Care and Medical Leave and Pregnancy Disability Leave notice as soon as possible and posting it next to your current labor law poster. Note that the bottom right hand corner will show “DFEH-100-21/March 2019.”
KCAL Insurance Agency provides free and up-to-date labor law posters that are compliant with the latest labor laws for businesses in California.
