Study: Consumers in denial about long-term care needs

A recent survey conducted by the 3in4 Association disclosed some facts regarding the use of long-term care insurance. Study found that 82 percent of people in the age of 45 to 64 have not purchased a long-term care health insurance policy, even through a majority of them think it important. Long-term care service is a section not entirely covered by health insurance or Medicare. Due to the financial crisis, almost half of respondents don't expect to plan anything on their long-term care in the next two years.
