New worksite health stations let employees connect virtually with doctors
Aetna has introduced new computerized worksite health stations that let employees check their blood pressure, look up health and wellness information, and consult doctors through video or voice connections. Aetna is making the stations available for lease to self-insured employers. The cost of a video consultation through the health station is $35 or less. Co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance apply. The consultations are a qualified expense for flexible spending accounts, health reimbursement arrangements or health savings accounts.
