Successful Saturday turnout of 500 from local community

With the onset of autumn and cold air rising, and the upcoming flu season fast approaching, Southern California’s largest insurance broker agency successfully planned and executed their annual “Community Health Fair Day” to administer free flu shot services and free blood pressure screenings, to provide assistance with Medi-Cal applications, and host health seminars, etc.

Almost 500 people from our local community came out to participate in our Community Health Fair to receive free flu shots and various other services. KCAL Insurance Agency invited Jack Xipu Wu, M.D. Ph.D. to come out and provide these health services. Many recipients of these services expressed their satisfaction in our Community Health Fair and that they look forward to future fairs. We would like to especially thank Queen of the ValleyHospital, Allied Physicians, and the Los Angeles Department of Public Social Services (LA DPSS) for their moral and physical support on the day of the event.

KCAL Insurance also hosted Covered California seminars in response to the general questions that people have about health care. In addition to the introduction of Covered California health plans, Covered California certified insurance agents stood by to answer questions and assist customers in filling out applications for health insurance. KCAL’s auto and home insurance agents also provided service to the public. The LA DPSS assisted the public in applying for Medi-Cal assistance.
